Organisms
Working alongside Scatter Dance Company and commissioned by The Place London, (Non)Conforming Organisms Inspired by Romans 12:2 “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” We explore what it means to not conform to evolving and uncertain structures but remain grounded in an immovable and unshakeable power.
CURVE CREATIVE DANCE COMPANY
Working alongsideCurve Creative Dance Company as Artistic Director, this contemporary dance company in association with Buckinghamshire New University had the opportunity to create and perform two brand new productions (Roads Untravelled and Waiting Here) at venues and national events such as
Move IT (Excel Centre), Wycombe Swan Theatre, Review Care Home.
The Cosmos: A Generation of Change-Makers
A Dance Umbrella Commission, Sara worked with Girls in Front is a bespoke dance program for girls based in Croydon aged 11 to 18.The Cosmos was performed as Dance Festival Croydon, Curated by Beeja, presented as a part of Dance Umbrella’s Fairfield Takeover at Fairfield Halls.
JOURNEY'S
Journey’s is a site-sensitive cross-cultural
dance piece exploring the history and changing demographics of cities within the UK.

The very early research and development journeys were conducted as part of an IGNiTE residency with Trinity Centre, Bristol in 2017. ​Performed as part of Collabo Bristol 2018.
East London Youth Dance Co.
Sara Dos Santos was the proud Artistic Director of East London Dance during 2015-2017. She worked with young people aged 14-18 to develop their technique, performance skills and create high-quality bespoke choreography that was performed at platforms such as U.Dance, Movie It and Physical Justice at Stratford Circus.
